Well, annexation would certainly be preferred over the NAU
If we go with the NAU then we are forced to redistribure wealth to the people of that region
Annexation will cause an economic boom within this country. this would be perferrable to the recession and war that will surely follow over the NAU.
Annexation will NOT require people of mexico to come to this country as our businesses will be allowed to freely move about down there
Annexation would require we get rid of the minimum wage laws and the qoata laws - people would have to get their jobs based on experience not a freebie forced by the government

Yes I am against it. We would not prefer the same type of government. Both sides would be unhappy while a few business men get rich exploitng everyone.

It could be done, but for the Americans to look the good ones, Mexicans need to ask the US for annexion... A little like Puerto Rico should have done, but never done it yet...
Because it will requires your Army to invade a sovereign nations having a seat at the UN, which will make an invasion of Mexico pretty much worst than invading Iraq, Iran or any other muslim states...
It can be a good idea, but many may die in the process, if its not done properly, and seeing how the things are done in Iraq, not sure it will be a good idea to do so...

Even if annexation were to happen, Mexico wouldn't enter the Union as just one state. It has 31 states of its own (e.g. Sonora, Baja California, Oaxaca) plus the federal district around Mexico City.

I'd be for that, We could take care of the drug cartels and when our army sweeps the place. Our labor laws would kick in to protect the workers and our tax system would force the Mexican rich to help the communities.
It would be a nightmare of lawsuits and politics for quite a bit though. And the corruption would be a pain in the butt to combat.

I would be for it just because they everyone would quit complaing about the illegals. Mexico was a state before with california. Everyone would cross back and forth every day and work. What is the big deal. Ok if they come here illegally they are still work and still making money. At least if they were with in the us the people could just stop.
