I have a friend from Mexico?
Answer:
I don't agree with it..but what about those who put their money in Swiss Bank Accounts? Same thing...it's their money...(wish they'd give some to me..hehe)>
Cool
Since he has a green card he is earning his money legally, what he does with it is none of anybodies business.
We should tax the hell out of that money, make it so it isn't worth sending money to Mexico.
He's got a green card- he's legal. :) Let worry about the other TONS that aren't legal.
It is his money!
I think it is admirable that he is sending 20% of his income to his family in Mexico.
This is what illegals do. They can afford to do that because their food, medical care, dental, and having babies like rabbits cost them nothing here. Deport them all, save these benefits for needy US citizens and the elderly. They love Mexico so much, they want to retire there, should prove , all about something for nothing, send them back, along with all their anchor babies.
honestly?..... it is though because i believe they should be able to BUT! only if they are here legally! if they were here legally then yes sending money back would be fine but only for honest reasons yall' know?
I think they can send it only it should be declared as taxable income
If you are really a friend of him do not talk bad about Mexicans, do not stereotype, We are not the same, even illegals as you call them. I am here illegally now but, I came here legally, I have earned a degree from college and I've been working like a donkey, to survive in this country, I have two children, 26 and 17 and they were born in Mexico, I own a house and I have some savings, and I still go to college and I work hard also, I spend my money here even though my parents are in Mexico so, what you have to say about me?
its wrong. it was on the news 2 months ago that towns are deserted. they are coming here. an american mexican female reporter reported the story. she don't care for illegals either. our american slums look better then the areas the rich live in. they are going to destroy this country and bush is letting them.
yes i do.
i know a couple of illegals who make great money, and yet they live off of welfare for their kids. (welfare doesn't count their income as they're illegal so it's like they don't have a job.) these people make like $50,000 a year(from the jobs, not counting welfare), which is great where i'm at, but they live like they're dirt poor. my conclusion: the money gets sent to Mexico.
If someone is here legally, working, and not taking social services and paying taxes on his earnings, I don't care where he sends his money. What's the difference in that if my child goes to school in Europe and I send her money to live on while there? It's the ones who are here illegally, not paying taxes, and often collecting food stamps or welfare money that I have a problem with. No, they should be taxed big-time on the money they send home. Those Money Marts, Western Union, etc. should have to ask for SSNs before allowing people to send money and all transactions should have a trail that is reported to the IRS. I also know of illegal immigrants from Honduras who live far too many to a house so they can pool their money and send most of it home. Many of them are not sending money home to support families, but sending it home to have it saved for them when they return. One in particular that I know of, at the age of 34 has gone back home to Honduras where he has managed to buy a business of public buses that he now operates and does well for himself. All on money he earned in the US and then Canada and that he did not pay taxes on. Nice, eh? That money goes much further in their countries and many of them are able to build homes there and retire early.
Yes.
Good question by the way.
Mexicans are the most important group in the USA
If you work hard for your money, you can do whatever you want with it.....
