Duel citizenship with ukraine and USA?
Answer:
You can acquire Ukrainian citizenship if you have resided in Ukraine for at least five years, are able to function in the Ukrainian language, and know the Ukrainian Constitution. Unkraine does not allow dual citizenship.
No visa is required for a tourist stay of up to 90 days, but U.S. citizens who seek employment, permanent residency, or to study require a visa, which you can apply for at
Consular Office of the Embassy of Ukraine
3350 M St., NW
Washington, DC 20007
(202-333-7507/08/09)
or the nearest Consulate General:
Chicago (312/642-8744) or New York (212/371-5691).
i think you can get a visa. if you are only going to live in Ukraine for half a year there really isnt a point in becoming a citizen. By the way, i love Ukraine, good choice!
go to www.travel.state.gov find ukraine not all nations recognzie dual citizenship.
