I want the laws enforced. If you are here illegally, go home. If the first thing you do upon getting here is break the law, you're not the type of person I want immigrating here. Come here legally or don't come at all.

I think it's terrible that they feel they have no other option than to cross the border illegally, I do not support the fact that they do, but I also feel that the legalization process should be made easier and shorter. If they didnt come here and work, then you'd just complain that they came and got on welfare, make up your mind. And this...."This is how they are funding their crossing. Having a job waiting until they find one here", does not make sense.

Most illegals work in factories or out in the fields rather than in restaurants! Restaurants are too closely watched by govt agencies for them to feel safe!
I love Mexican food. I eat it almost everyday (cause my husband is Mexican). I don't complain about Mexicnas crossing the border either. Whoever complains about Mexicans shouldn't eat their food. You can get sick from any restraunt not just Mexican restraunts.
I feel that we all should be created equal and that we all deserved to be treated fair. I don't believe that we should allow people that do not belong here legally come across the border and take what we have been working so hard for and run with it. It just is not fair to anyone.
I currently do not eat at Mexican food places for this reason. There are many others that are in the food biz that hire illegals.
You can't escape it currently. It is everywhere and in every biz. Eithe we let them come here ...in which case they need to be indentified, pay taxes, insurance etc and be workers only or they need to stay away.
Neither of this approach is working currently.
America is at a stalemate on this and to be real, these folks need to start payinjg taxes like the rest of us ..or not use our services while here. Hard to regulate.
Give me a break! that's your theory! People who own most of these establishments are Mexican-Americans some of their employees may be illegals but that is because they know the hardships of making it in America. Funding for crossing the border.....that can be money sent from any number of relatives in America working underpaid jobs or even money earned by the illegal in Mexico and there are those that live close to the border that risk coming across every day to work in America to earn money to pay coyotes (smugglers) to get them further North where more migrant jobs are available.
And..YES I WILL CONTINUE TO EAT AT THESE PLACES GREAT FOOD GET OVER THE STEREOTYPING!!!

Do you consume produce? If your answer was yes, then you have supported a migrant worker. Have you consumed poultry products? Guess what? The processing plants have hired illegal workers as seen by the recent sting operations on television. It goes beyond eating at a Mexican restaurant. Most likely, there is something in your fridge or pantry that has been handled by a person that has illegally crossed our border. Their presence has helped in keeping consumer prices lower based on the substandard wages they are paid.
I am livid when it comes to the illegal alien criminals. Some twit (on this forum) last week stated that people aren't upset. There's a lot of anger out there and it's getting worse.
I have stopped going to places that hire illegals. I complain about them. I vote for people that are for tough laws (not that it's done any good).
I get so angry that they demand benefits that they don't deserve. I am angry at our wimpy governor for wanting to give them FREE medical when citizens don't have it. The idiot (AKA Arnold) claims that our premiums will go down. Yea, right. He wants to tax doctors and hospitals for part of the costs. Where does he think those extra expenses will come from?

Honestly though, I do support illegals crossing the borders, most illegals are here to work and support their families just like we are, unfortunetly being able to do that in their own country isnt really available to them. They have better chances doing it here in the U.S.
I understand that there is crimes commited by the illegals here in the U.S. and I dont support that just like I dont support it of the millions of U.S. citizens that do it every year to their own people and own country.
Becoming a legal citizen is getting harder and harder for mexicans to do wich I think is unfair, we are all people and are all human and in all fairness our goals are the same, in reality we all just want to be able to support of families,feed our children, and live compfortably.
