Why Swiss people emigrate?
Answer:
Well, Switzerland is expensive - and not having a good education might mean to have less possibilities. And specially retired persons find it attractive to enjoy a much higher living standard in an other country, as all pension schemes would send the same monthly rate to any place in the world.
Some people miss warm weather (throughout the year) or the sea, so they prefer countries like Thailand or Australia.
If someone wishes to become a professional in the agricultural sector without having own land, it might be a lot easier in countries with a lot of space like New Zealand or Canada.
And, of course, some Swiss simply find their big love elsewhere in the world and decide to live there.
Just because a country has a great profile, doesn't mean that everyone who was born there is doing great, personally. A lot of non-capitalistic (or countries that are democratic in terms of governmental structure, but socialist economically) do not produce enough jobs due to those socialist policies. So, the country might be very peaceful, lawful, safe, etc, but it just doesn't produce enough jobs, so citizens will emigrate to democratic/capitalistic countries, to wit, the US.
Also, maybe they are tired of paying full price for cheese with holes in it!
Thank you, come again!
because they want to live somewhere else
