My best friend wants to get married but her boyfriend doesnt have a UK settled status, wat can they do? help?
Answer:
I'll cut and paste the advice I gave someone a couple of days ago....
There is only one way forward: He must leave the country and return to his own country. He must approach the British Embassy and make an application to them. Any attempt to hide his past will court refusal. He needs to apply for a FIANCE visa (or a SPOUSE visa if married overseas). Only then does he have any chance of securing a lawful and married future in the UK.
These are the facts. Solicitors can't help you though they will take your money and feed you a load of old crap.
why home office refuse him, i believe your hiding some details can't get a clear picture of the Story!!!
He probably only wants to marry her so he can get a British passport!!
tell your g-f to have her b-f change his name to shitek something or other, then tell home office that if they send him home he will be tortured by the local authorities. were he is wanted for a string of horrendous atrocities, it would be really help-full if your pals b-f was good at speaking publicly, and is advisable to to form his speeches around British culture, clearly stating what a ghastly lot we are and how unjust our system is to murdering sociopaths, if he can perfect this roll not only will they let him stay they will give him a huge free house and large car also they will send a Boeing 747 over to collect his extended family.
I don't know why you do not go to the citizen advice bueraue. they will tell you what to do for free.
clear off to his country get married and dont *** back then we see if it for just a passport or real love
Frisky is right. He always is on these matters.
please live in his country our little country is full up
we dont want no more terrorist in our country just tell the a r s e wipe to stay where he is !
The only thing you're friend can do is to travel to her boyfriends country and marry him there, once married they can apply for a spouse visa to come here legally.
I don't think this is given automatically because they are married.
I assume you're girlfriend is in employment and can afford to travel to his country and once settled will take up employment as there will more than likely be no free handouts where he comes from.
If you're friend really loves this man surely where they live is immaterial.
