because the government is run by liberalist pansies and they are too afraid of loosing votes to do anything about it. In the northern Virginia area the government was sick of looking at the "day workers" (immigrants that sit at convenience stores and wait for work) so instead of enforcing the law and getting rid of them, they built houses so they could wait in the air conditioning.

i don't know. did you know animal abuse was put in effect before child abuse. in the 1800's 3 woman went to visit a friend and while there they noticed the woman had her son chained to a pipe. it angered them and they fought agents child abuse, and look where we are. now we can't make are kids mind because of social services.

the word "alien" is used in the rest of the world as a "being from another planet".
In the United States....it is used to describe someone who is not legally in the country, or has applied to come into the country, or is visiting the country...or anyone who is NOT a us citizen.
The basics of human decency are not utilized greatly in the us, as is shown by the rude acronyms which are used to describe people who are "different" or "not of the us."....it degrades people just as bad as when you allowed and promoted slavery.
As to why a Pit Bull can be put down...it is because the breed has been shown and proven to be dangerous....BUT, it doesn't mean that every single one of those dogs is dangerous or mean.

They are trying to make a better life for themselves, and if you really think about it,,,,who would pick your fruit if they weren't around?...certainly not the wonderful holier-than-thou people of the "apple-pie America".
