Could i live in new zealand but still work for the british m. o. d?

i,am employed as a merchant seaman with the royal fleet auxailliary and would like to move to new zealand but still retain my job is this possible.

Not sure that you would be able to do that...you would need to be working in New Zealand methinks!

Husband and I talked about this earlier tonight and it might be possible for you to do as you ask, as there is something about being able to live in New Zealand for no more than 6 months at a time, be away for a length of time and then go back again etc....might not work if you have a family to consider though...
