Yes, but that was a case of might makes right. You know if you want to have history as a guide we all are from another country. I am German American fourth generation. My wife is Hispanic and she was born in the Philippines. Soon the Hispanics will have the honor of having the majority and you are welcome to take over whenever you want too. The treaty provided for the Mexican Cession, in which Mexico ceded 1.36 million km² (525,000 square miles) to the United States in exchange for USD$15 million. That's a false statement. How convenient it is for you to bring up the past and selectively forget Mexico's role in warring with, killing, and stealing land from native tribes on behalf of Spain. Mexico was never a friend or ally of any Native American tribe, and it never came to the defense of the tribes who were being systematically removed from their ancestral territories by the US military. Please come up with a better arguement because I am not sold on why illegals deserve to break American laws, steal identities, commit crimes and escape prosecution by self-deportation, and take jobs from poor American citizens.
