But if I waltzed across the border into Mexico without the proper documentation, fees, and the ever-present mordida, my US-American *** would be arrested, hauled to jail, and I would be considered an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT because Mexico has LAWS that govern IMMIGRATION!

Why don't Mexicans try to reform their government and improve their nation, their land of birth, if it is not acceptable?? It is the way of democracy and the history of nations on this planet, from the French, Russian, American Revolutions on down??
I oppose the mythical "Aztlan" because, for one, it is a fuzzy concept of a history that has no stable basis of a society or government, it's based on a strange chauvanism that can't decide whether it's Indigenous or Spanish Anglo (pretty damned barbaric invaders if there ever existed any) and in the modern day, it simply tries to take the failures of south of the border and transport them here, instead of morphing the successes here into a version of democracy there. Why is this?
