okey the situation is kinda complicated... im gonna take a quarter in california next semester and i will have the visa for that. the point is that i wanted to take an internship in the states right before taking the quarter in california. do i need a special visa to do both or do i need two different visas? can i take an umpaid internship with a visiting visa? does it make a difference if the internship is paid or not? can i show up at the immigration office holding two different visas for two different periods of time? if that is the case, can i stay inside the country while the first expires and the second starts? if not, how long do i have to stay away? how long before the beginning of the visa can i cross the borders?
the most deserved 10 points for whoever gives me a detailed answer...

I have heard of people being on a student visa, graduating after the H1B visas ran out for the year and getting to stay on an unpaid internship while they wait for the next allotment, but not doing it in reverse. Use this website and find out from the source.
