Canada or Australia?Which is better for a pharmacist?
Answer:
Given that they are both Democratic, Capitalistic, modern countries there probably isn't a "better". You would have to look at lots of factors. Things to consider...
Income
Cost of Living
Life style - do you like to snow ski? Or would you rather scuba dive?
Political view point
Are you single - male/female ratio
Distance from your family
Hope some of this helps.
well Australia's going through some pharmaceutical changes recently if that attracts you... you can research on the abortion drug that has been legalised late last year
in terms of lifestyle, depends which city.
I'm not sure of the specifics, but I would think overall the USA would be more beneficial. I am in the medical field and while I don't know exact numbers, I do know that Canada tends to put caps on the incomes of medical workers. That is why many Doctors and Therapists are coming to America to work. I believe a Pharmacist can easily make a 6 figure income in the US. Of course I would look in to the details before making a decision. Also look in to the cost of living of the area you are considering, that can have a huge effect on your overall life style.
Let me tell you i have lived in Australia and you simply cant beat it for employment the cost of living is a little high but its worth it to live in this majestic country. The weather around Brisbane is the best you will find anywhere. If you do decide on Australia that is the best place. Theres a medium sized city on the outskirts called Caboolture that is a great place to live and work. Good Luck and you might see me there.
