i say bad. but i can see how people like them for the cheap wages. but they need to stay in there own country.
I would rather put it as right or wrong, rather than good or bad. It's wrong, because society is built from laws. We can't have order if we let a group of people violate it. If we let that happen other groups would violate other laws using their personal judement rather than the entire communities beliefs.
I am not against Mexicans coming to America, I just think they should do it the right way, and should have to learn English instead of making it seem like we need to learn Spanish.
There are 3 kinds of illegal aliens for me. Good, bad and worst.
The worst are those who committed trespassing by crossing the border without lawful entry.
The bad are those who had lawful entries for a limited period but overstayed as soon as it expired.
The good and I am one of them are those Filipinos who were lawfully admitted to the US pursuant to military orders to serve in the US Navy, did tour of duty during the gulf war and retired from active duty, and chose to stay in the US as an illegal alien in hoping to become an American due to my military service during a time of conflict the US was involved..

I'll not get into why you say Mexico, illegal aliens are from all over the world. The buttom line is, come here legally and they would find us very welcoming.
Many illegals come in through Mexico but they're not all Mexican. That said, a large wall should be built as we cannot accommodate anyone else. Many years ago, our country was in a different position and it was possible for many people to come in illegally and, although it was still wrong, they managed to assimilate into American culture. Unfortunately, we're loaded and the people that come in now seem very different. Maybe not all of them but most seem to be proud of breaking the law and demand that we take care of them like they're entitled.
My mom came to this country legally and has made a good life. She made me a very proud American. Her perspective is this:
Imagine that someone breaks into your house. Then demands to stay, eats your food, soils your linens, demands maid service and even money for expenses.

Illegal Mexicans are one of the biggest threats to America's security. They come over, commit crime and then disappear with out a trace. Not to mention the burden they put on our health care system. I say we need to build a wall, arrest those that are here and ship them back to where they came from!

I am not going to speak spanish. If you are one of those people that gives someone a dirty look for not speaking spanish, get a life. Spaniards are white, they are oppressive towards aztec native americans and apparently oppressive towards Mexicans with aztec roots.

Also, I don't believe in a one-sided open border. If it's only for mexican citizens to travel to america and back but no americans can enter, no thank you. If you want the wall to be torn down because you want americans and mexicans to both travel freely, fine.
It reminds me of how little kids want to play with another child's toy but in return says IT'S MINE GIVE IT BACK when the other child wants to play with their toys.

Illegal immigrants are neither good nor bad they are a fact of life.
They do not get welfare. They do not get SSI. They do by and large pay taxes though IRS issued tax ID's.
They do jobs that no American will do

they are not ruining our country, the government is not trying as well as they could to stop the illegal immigrants. just remember not all are illegal. what i am wondering is why the U.S. can go to Iraq and stop violence and the such thier, but they can't help in cleaning up Mexico? I did not know illegal aliens were involved in gang wars, I do see them playing a lot of soccer.

I agree with those people who want to build the wall across the border and that the illegal mexicans are ruining this country. I dont think that we should learn spanish. When people from other countries migrated here in certain time periods, they learned to speak english and become apart of our American culture. I believe that the Mexicans are no different and they too can learn to speak english and blend into our culture as well.
Good..I don't understnad why the finest country in the world would turn people away. If we want our nation to continue to thrive, why don't we just make it easy for them to come in? I think that more people in america are good, no matter where they came from. However, I think that they should pay taxes.

Would you prefer to do your banking at a legal or illegal institution? Or better yet, if your grandmother needed surgery, would you take her to an institution that was legal or illegal?
Do you understand the concept that things are illegal for a reason? If you have such a huge issue, then work to remove the "illegal" issue in regards to immigrants.
Too many to be absorb as Americans - just breed discontent. There must be orderly influx in Latins into the US. As to a fence - that is a waste - try prisons and lock up business owners who heir them. As to dual language - divide and conquer. This is the rational for the reason to expel them. Criminals - yeah poor immigrants tend to go to crime for a fast gain- just another reason to slow the influx. Gangs - are for idiots who have no self-respect to gain something legally for themselves. The only people asking us to have dual language (US citizens to learn Spanish) are uneducated Spanish speaking illegals.

I think cultural inasion is everywhere, I lived in Germany 8 years and I am now in Switzerland, because of the American Tv series, English words are mixed with the local language in so an extreme way!
About USA, I really think it is bad for USA, because all the economic problems, which this situation brings (investments in the immigration department, low wages, health care, schools, US international image, etc.)
But I think, that many people exagerate about crime, if 10 millions of immigrants were criminal, could you imagine what kind of situation it would be there?
I think the only solution is that nobody offer them a job, only that would stop this, but who could change the mind of millions of US citizen, who like to save money hiring illegals?
BAD! As soon as all people who came to our counrty illegally learn English,then I will think about learning Spanish. We are being invaded!
