UK Certificate of Registration - Reporting Leave?
I'm an international student in the UK.
My country is one of few countries where I was required to register with the police within one week of my first arrival to the UK to obtain a "Certificate of Registration".
On this Certificate, it's written that I MUST take this certicate and inform the police if I'm leaving my address for more than two months.
I went to the police, the policewoman at the desk didn't know what exactly to do (because as I said Not all countries are required to do so), and because it was outside office hours, she couldn't call the Home Office to inquire what she should do.
I couldn't go back the next day before the time of my flight.
I am now studying in another European country as an exchange student for six months (until end of June)
I am worried that when I'll come back to UK, the immigration officer might ask me why I didn't report that I'm leaving my address for more than 2 months.
Help is very appreciated.

Geez. You haven't gotten any answers because this seems extremely difficult an issue. You need to speak with a barrister but given you are broke (a poor student I assume) and now not in the UK, I would take it up immediately with your school administration over there and then with the British embassy in this new country.
I am not advocating lying but I have to say I don't have the foggiest idea how you would get caught. This is not the type of information in your passport records (information they will see when scanned at immigration coming back to the UK). When you get back, I don't know what would happen to you. You weren't told to re-check-in with the police again so I don't see how you are really going to get in much trouble or how anyone will ever know???
