Everything is great about this country.
It is a big target. So it is easy to get. Therefore every passerby every pipsqueak every tom every d.ick and every harry takes a shot at it.
Without them, you would not have been able to even get on the internet to ask this Q. That's for starters. Who shows leadership in everything that touches your life today? Who gives you that freedom to criticize?
Try doing that kind of criticism in China. See how far you get with it.

The USA is a beautiful country. It has desserts, canyons, mountains, waterfalls, vast grassy meadows. Its a great country, its just a shame about the people living there.

umm let's see we give more aid to the poor than all other countries combined. We have helped keep the world free. we have to pay to keep the UN alive. We pay more into the "world Bank" than anybody else, we make stupid movies and music everyone seems to want and like. what is so great about your country???

5)freedom to travel

Freedom. some pretty cool cities, TONS of celebrities, beautiful beaches, great people (sometimes) and the BEST FIFTY STATES EVER!!!
The USA is a nation of power now, it is a place for the free if you wanna live some were else good luck finding freedom of speech. Granted it has its downsides, America is the land of the free
We have freedom's like you wouldn't believe, why you against are ways, don't blame the people for the way it is, blame our government.
Convience. Unless you have lived in another country OR live in the sticks of the USA- you most likely take for granite that you can go to a grocery store at 11pm. You can go for lunch at 11am. You can catch a movie at 12pm on a Sunday. You can drop off your film and pick it up an hour later. You can get satelite or cable almost anywhere and watch tv in your native language even if its not english. Belive it or not that isnt common in most of Europe or Asia. You have windows of opportunity and in America- you can do a lot of your business when its convienent. (I dont have time for spell check- I have to go to work!)
The government never misses an opportunity to tell us how free we are. That simply isn't true. The U.S. does have a load of natural resources, good shipping ports, good farm land. Those are the only things good about this country unless you like crooked politicians.
If America is so terrible, then why are all these people from other countries trying so hard to get in here?
Well, let's see. Freedom, generosity (every country that has a natural disaster comes running to us to ask for help), plenty of natural resources, friendly people (for the most part), and countless people wanting to immigrate here because of what we have, countless opportunities for all. What's your country have????
Having lived in four continents already, including Africa and the USA... I am looking a way to go back to Africa... great people there... yes, a lot of work to do, but for sure more fulfilling than selling stocks in Wall Street.

nothing really....freedom is not even free. If we say something against the president, something not politically correct, etc, we are blasted.
A student at the school that I work at got suspended for 365 days for wearing a shirt with a confederate flag on it. I know it is racist, but freedom of speech and expression should have allowed him to show his feelings.
Free welfare, housing ,medical care and food. All you need is a spanish last name and no speak-le english.They get all this benefits because of white Americans that love brown skin people from south America.
