Is there any country that you don't have to live there for a specific amount of time to apply for citizenship?

Like you can just apply and be "accepted"?

Answer:
In the UK you have to live there for 5 years before applying for Indefinite Leave to Remain. You have to pass a test about living in the UK & an English test. Good luck!

I think every country will have a minimum requirement of residency in their land. At least enough time to assimilate and/or become familiar with the laws that govern and learn to respect them. Every country has to be selective, or else a lot of creeps will creep into their society.
