Will there be justice in our immigration policy.?

Answer:
Oh I see. Now the Catholic Church is meddling in our affairs.
Wonder if they heard about SEPARATION of church and State?
Why isn't the catholic church trying to get reform in Mexico...hmmm the problems stem from there wouldn't that be a good place to start? Oh because the Mexican Government would tell them to go pound sand.

OK let's call a spade a spade. They do not want fairness in immigration policy. The Catholic church could care less about non catholics. They are only concerned about all of the ILLEGAL ALIENS from south of the border that are here and they want the US to grant them amnesty..

If they were really about fairness and justice then they would have to agree that it is grossly unfair to reward criminal trespassers citizenship while others waited their turn in line.

Is this the same Catholic Church that cut deals with the Nazis in WW II ? Yep thought so.

The only justice is to deport them all.
Yes, if we deport all these people and force their countries to fix their economic problems.
Don't know talk to Governer Arnold The Terminator Schwaranagger.
Yes. Immigration reform will treat them fairly. In spite of the vitriol you see spewed on YA and other sites, the majority of American citizens are reasonable and compassionate.
How about fairness? Not easy to attain, but if everyone works on it together, perhaps good things will happen over time.

There are many problems, few solutions.
Once the borders are closed, the illegal alien criminals are gone and America can start taking care of it's OWN citizens instead of the citizens of other countries - then there will be justice and things will be right!!!

Legal immigrants are important to our country. What part of ILLEGAL is hard to understand? This is not racist. This is about LAW.
Justice, for whom?
Until someone stops the illegal invasion of this country there will be no justice for the legal tax paying Americans.
Wake up America!
only if "massive deportation" is involved
Only if we get rid of whiny Americans who think that the world owes them everything for no reason other than they were born in he US!
I hope not soon. I am enjoying white Americans getting pissed off. When the illegals get amnesty all my fun will be gone.Maybe not they should be angry when illegals get amnesty.
There is an element found in all tribes of man and even within each of us that hails from fear and savagery that breeds a vile ignorance. It is a disease that infects our civilizations and eventually destroys some. It destroys individuals, too, and causes wasted, vicious lives of spiritual morbidity. We rise above savagery, though. We rose above cannibalism, human sacrifice and slavery. We will also rise above this viscious spirit of preying upon each other and learn the folly of it, of how it destroys our societies and ourselves. Wiser people know that to empower each other is better for everyone than to prey upon each other and succumb to the madness of greed and elitism. An example of such a savage and doomed concept has been our so-called "approach" to community development related to illegal immigrant workers in the U.S. Those who subscribe to this viscious paradigm criminally invite and hire and allow undocumented Mexican labor to come work and live in their communities in order to avoid paying Americans a legal and decent wage. They pay these guest workers poverty wages, making their families suffer added hardship as they struggle to rise, which is why they come to American communities . . .to rise. THEN, the vicious deny the children of those workers equal access to an education. They discriminate vulgarly against these families who are a part of their communities. They foil every single effort to empower them and help them transition into a new culture. Then, later, as their communities begin to fail and collapse under the stupidity and incompetence of intolerance and morally corrupt social "planning", the best that their diseased and doomed paradigm can do for them to "fix" the subsequent problems is to take Mexicans out into the desert and shoot them. Communities that rose above such savagery, though, that more wisely addressed their communities realities and that more ethically treated fellow human beings, they are not suffering the collapse that communities that failed to treat each other with decency and forethought. We are becoming globally connected. And, we are bumping into more and more people who are not like us, who do not speak our language, who do not share our spiritual thoughts. Adaptation and survival in the global economy requires pluralistic planning and adjustments in our communities and within ourselves, not vicious savagery of discrimination and selfish exclusion of segments of humans and their children from our schools and benefits of our societies. Tolerance and wisdom is necessary for us all to continue to prosper and enjoy our lives. I do not believe in "justice", per se. It, too, is part of a vicious paradigm of revenge and punishment. I believe in goodness and that goodness and good people will prevail.
How is there not justice ? They get free medical care vs Mexico no medical care. They get free schools vs Mexico no free school after 6th grade. They get welfare, food stamps, social security for their kids. Free school lunches. Free translators, If America never did another thing, we've done more for the illegals in one year than Mexico will have in 5 life times.
It all depends on your definition of justice. Since this country is composed of just about every kind of person imaginable, an overwhelming consensus regarding immigration policy is unlikely. From my perspective (an original Native American), I think everyone other than my people should go back to where their ancestors came from. Since that is not going to happen, the people currently residing in my homeland need to decide what really constitutes the United States of America and enact meaningful legislation that applies to ALL peoples not just our neighbors within walking ability of our southern border. Anything less is hypocrisy.
Yes, eventually we'll enforce the current laws and deport the people that we did not invite to come here. If you are here illegally you should leave. If you come legally you will be treated fairly. Immigrants need to come to the US based on what's good for us, not convenient for them, and they need to adapt to our society and our culture, not the other way around.
no they enjoy illegal labor to much.
probably not, because social justice is utopic in any imperialistic country, We need poverty to keep having wealth
As many of us agree, "illegal" means ILLEGAL, so of course they should have to go.

If they have a better life here, they "should" stay as long as the US allows them to stay.

But we cannot just sit and complain about it, we have to DO something about it:
Border Security - keep out anyone who did not follow this country's laws and regulations for being allowed in
Round up and kick out illegals - like any and all crimes, the law must be enforced, need a secure border or they come right back in, in which case penalties should become stiffer and stiffer for every repeat offense
Deny government services to illegals - that's right, no emergency rooms, hospital care, police, firefighters, FEMA, traffic lights, nothing. If you don't pay taxes, you don't deserve any of them, because you are essentially stealing from the people that do.
Punish those who employ, smuggle, and harbor illegals - as with drugs, you have to work on the demand side of the problem too, not just the supply side. Anyone that encourages, profits from, and facilitates illegal activity is an accomplice/co-conspirator and must be punished.

LEGAL IMMIGRATION IS GREAT and what this country is based on. Quality people coming to join our society without excessively draining our resources. We have scarce resources, and cannot allow millions and millions of illegals into our country without eventually getting overwhelmed. Unfortunately, our border cannot be an open door to the rest of the world's billions of unfortunate people. Think about it, without immigration law enforcement, with open borders, how many of the world's poor would flock to live in the United States, and what then would our standard of living be? We would become just another third world country.

THERE needs to be a managed, qualified stream of legal immigration that helps this country strengthen, diversify and grow, of people who are qualified, screened, and meet the necessary standards and requirements. People who appreciate this country and what it stands for and will join in, not invade us in uneducated hordes to stay isolated, overwhelming US culture with their own through sheer force of numbers while taking advantage of government services (police, fire, medical, national security, etc.) without paying taxes.

AND we cannot be hypocrites, and we have to be prepared for the consequences, and we must act before the illegal population is so high that it overwhelms even our political system as their children vote in ever increasing numbers. We cannot make money or save money off of cheap illegal labor, whether it is agriculture, cleaning crews, construction, what have you, and then turn around and complain about higher expenses. Many greedy Americans happily profit off of illegals - Bank of America is now offering credit cards to illegals that have no social security numbers. Cell phone companies and banks are working out a system by which illegals can send money to their home countries via cell phones. Large corporations and farmers bus truckloads of illegals around to do things as cheaply as possible. We cannot cry if after cracking down on illegals we have to pay a few cents more as consumers per pound of vegetables, or for professional cleaning services, or for lawn care. Everything is a trade off and we cannot have it both ways.

I love America, my family came here as legal immigrants, as did most Americans' at some point. Land of the free, equal opportunity, public education, etc. If you love America and will follow the rules, I want you to come and work hard and enjoy our opportunity and make our country even better. If you sneak in illegally you are a criminal and need to be punished, along with anyone that helps you. I do not want to live in a third world country, or see my children or grandchildren living in a third world country, which is what will happen with uncontrolled illegal immigration.
I guess this' a matter of opinion and after Reading all of the answers on this question, I can tell who's ignorant, immature, white, immigrant and joker. this' a serious matter of course everyone's gonna have something to say according to their experience and environment, the same thing's happening with the politicians on the same issue. United States was made solely on the immigration among most important topics and every generation faces different challenges and believe it or not, there are more hidden facts as of why most countries are poor even though they have tons of natural resources that are being used in the States, France, United Kingdom or any of the "G8" country. basically, there's justice and there's idea of justice, which one's gonna happen, its anyone's guess and mine would be yes to a degree and the utopia wont happen.
