This is how it starts and why you can't just give amnesty to 12 million illegals, because the "well what about their families" talk begins and then the bleeding hearts further bankrupt our country by guilt tripping everyone into taking in the who knows how many millions more people that the 12 million have in family in Mexico.
The children of illegal immigrants are no different than the children of other criminals. If they cannot be cared for by their parents, they are taken away and given to the state to care for.
Illegal immigrants are criminals. They have shown complete disregard for the laws of our land by trying to bypass the legal way to become a citizen. If we given them amenesty... who's next? Drunk drivers? Thieves? Rapists? Murderers?

People keep forgetting that these people are criminals. Most illegal immigrants are from Latin america and there are no real oppressive governments. They may have some problems. but they're not being taken out and shot.

It is not our job to take care of other nations people, as for the children if they were born here they are entitled to citizenship under the 14th amendment... or at least the current interpretation of it. The parents are not covered by this, I personally think the 14th amendment needs to be looked at it practically begs women to risk life and limb to make it to the US in order to secure citizenship for the baby and all the benefits that come with that citizenship, its dangerous for the woman, its dangerous for the unborn child..

what happens to the children whose parents were killed by illegals.? What of the parents who live with the pain of their child raped by criminal illegals? What of the hard working people that get "new" neighbors that frighten them so much they never leave the house after dark and can't move because the neighborhood has been destroyed? You are getting no sympathy from me, laws are laws. When you break them you deserve any punishment you get.
They can take their children with them. We need to change the 14th amendment as every EU country and Canada have gotten rid of automatic birthright citizenship and for the same reason. People use it to 'game' our immigration and benefits laws.
Their parents did this to them, just as anyone else who breaks the law is responsible for separation from their kids if they get sent to jail.

This precedent has drawn way too many who knowingly use childbirth to try to get a claim to stay. We used to allow it, but the numbers are way too big and OUR children's schools and opportunities are failing.
