Why my I-485 rejected? What's next?
Answer:
You are asking a question and not providing clear facts. May by you did the same thing with your I-485.
When the US CIS rejects an application, they -by law- have to state the reason. So, you should know it. If you hired an attorney, he would know it.
You have two choices:
Re-file with corrective action. Most common ones are: wrong fees, application mailed to wrong address, missing documentation, signatures missing, wrong fee amount, etc.
File an appeal if documentation or otherwise the application was complete.
Good luck.
How would anyone on here know why YOUR I-485 was rejected? we don't know you or your situation so we could hardly know why you were rejected.
Ask INS
Read your mail from USCIS carefully. and fill up another forms again then resend it to them.
Was your AOS packet returned for more or correct information or was your application rejected because you don't qualify?
More info would help to provide a detailed reponse.
Good luck.
If it was rejected the next thing that will happen is you'll be asked to leave the United States. If you refuse then the government will begin deportation proceedings against you.
