What are the differences between the Mexican Americans, Puerto Ricans, Cubans, and the South and Central Ameri
Answer:
Our accents are different, some of the foods and cultures are different ,economically,we are all in the same boat (poor).Except for Puerto Rico since they are a commonwealth of the USA.Politically, the oligarchy rule and the poor suffers. There are 3 main races:Whites,Blacks, and Indigenous groups.Racism is not as bad as in the USA.More of a class racism exists rather than cultural. I could elaborate on this whole subject, but it would take a day or two.
Answering this question would take days and days...you are asking for cultural & poitical differences and histories of 3 countries [Mexico, Puerto Rico, Cuba] in addition to all the countries in South America!!
Each country is different - the citizens/natives of said countries differ based on the original heritage and with which other peoples they may have mixed over centuries.
Most speak Spanish as their native tongue; however Portuguese is the native tongue of Brazil.
differnt parts of the world...
All our Native Brothers and sisters Were Invaded .. Raped Killed and Brought to near Genocide,,, Because Of SPAIN!
. Mexico is one of the worlds most corrupt narco state on the planet. The most poverty per ca pita, rampant corruption and killings in the western world. Tijuana police were yesterday forced to disarm and turn there guns in. Oh, and your a socialist, Marxist system with a police state run by your military.
The USA has constitutional laws, wealth, freedom, posse comitatis, space program not donkeys, so we would rather you dont combine the two country's
I don't know much about South Americans. Seems it depends on what part of South America. The ones I've met have been white business people who didn't seem any different than me.
I am reporting what I was told by a friend from Spain. It is definately a generalization. The heirchy goes, Spanish from Spain, South Americans, Puerto Ricans, Cubans and then Mexicans. Kind of like going from British Royality to white trash. Money I'm sure as well as education plays a big part. I've noticed differences but they are generalizations.
I don't like Mexican or Cuban food. Too spicy for me. I loved Puerto Rican food. I worked in a restaurant and tried things I never would have otherwise. Love plantians or whatever they're called. The owner said the food differences are basicly due to economic means. Filling with beans and rice and spices because they couldn't afford the better quality food. More starches and fats, etc. Never had anything from Spain or South America to compare it to.
Spain of course speaks true Spanish. We had teachers brought here to help with the "bi-lingual" education and they sent them back because the Mexican students couldn't understand them. I've heard Mexicans speak Spanglish.....a mix I guess. Every person I met from the other countries you named spoke English so I couldn't tell you about that. The most they spoke Spanish was Tia or whatever their word is for aunt and uncle or grandma and grandpa etc. Relegion definately played an important part. I don't think I ever went into a home where somewhere there wasn't a picture of the Virgin Mary, the Last Supper and a crucifix. It seemed the poorer they were, the more prominant the pictures. Just an observation. Mexicans seem to have more children than the others. More of an alcohol problem. They don't seem to respect their women as much as others appeared to. But again...it's a generalization.
