Will he be deported?
We got married and everything changed. He was gone every night, for work he would say. I had to pay for EVERYTHING because suddenly he had no money. Then I found out he had been cheating. The other woman saught me out and explained the he married me for a green card and would leave me for her.
He has since moved out. We filed for divorce to 3 wks ago and he is already dating other women. His visa expired almost a year ago and he did not get his green card. Will have to leave the country? I feel I need some justice. I haven't slept in months, now weigh 90lbs and spend most of the day holding back tears. What can I do?
Answer:
move with him to mexico
see ya
I believe he will be deported. Sorry that he did that to you . Good luck.
He will probably be deported if they can find him. But that won't get you any justice. You just need to take this as a lesson to not move in with someone and marry them so quickly. I could have told you that would happen. Go see a therapist if you are feeling so down about it. I hope things get better.
I don't know if he will be deported. Did you make that ID today just to ask this question or will you be telling us other stories?
if he overstayed his visa and didnt apply for residency with you, then he is illegal, he will only be deported if he draw attention to himself or if someone reports him.
Report him to the department of immigration services. It is illegal for him to marry to get a green card.
Well, sad to say but true, you got what you didn't deserve. JUst like the rest of America.
See a lawyer. They know how to get even if it is at all possible.
I wish I could put your story on a flag ...and wave it all over the USA. There are lots and lots of foolish, charmed off their feet women who will join your club.
To the loss of the rest of America.
Honey, turn on your b i t c h switch and get his sorry, trifling @$$ deported. One of my relatives was in a similar situation and felt bad for the idiot and took him back. Don't you do the same.Be strong and get revenge.See to it that he gets deported and make sure he knows you had to do with it also.
As for what you can do, forgoet him and move on. If he was cheating, then he never truly loved you anyway and doesn't deserve you feeling bad about the breakup. Realize that yuo are better off without him and do not worry about whether he will be deported. If you call INS or even let him know that you hope something bad happens to him, then he will have won because he got to you. Just live your life and put him in your past.
I'm sorry for what happened to you, but as a general rule this is why you don't move in with someone after two weeks of dating them. This is why you don't marry someone a month or so later.
If his visa expired and he never bothered to get one when he was married to you, then he is basically an illegal alien. He could in theory be deported, and the fact that he married you is irrelevant.
When you say you feel like you need some justice, what you are saying is you want some revenge. You could report him to the INS and the police and see what happens. They may well catch him and kick him out of the country. If you feel that revenge is the best answer to what he did to you, then have at it.
In all honesty, I'm not sure you really want to go down that road however. It sounds more like you need some therapy and need to make better life choices in future. After all, if this guy married you only for the green card, why didn't he make more of an effort to get one and keep it current? Maybe he really did love you at one time. Maybe his new girlfriend is so naive and stupid, she doesn't think this rat can ever treat her the same way. Well, good luck to her. I think there is a very good chance she will find herself in your situation before too long.
If you want justice, have you considered reporting him to USCIS? (formerly ICE, formerly INS)
Call Immigration and Custom enforcement and report "suspicious
activity":
1-866-347-2423
Give them all the information you know, his address now and
so on. They may caught him. Or may not, because they are more
concerned with organised groups. But it's your chance.
Immigration and Naturalisation service does not deal with illegal
aliens. They deal with those who are legal and going through the
process.
But if you and he had a case pending, contact the Immigration centre it
was in, and told them about the situation. Again, have the case
number, dates, et cetera, ready.
You can find the address of the centre which processed the case, if
you had one, on your payment receipts.
If you had no case, do not bother with INS, contact ICE.
