Exactly, why do they automatically vote for democrats. Oh thats right, the Dem's lie and tell them they will set up programs to help them. Same old, same old.

People who vote for a living will instinctively vote for people who promise them the most stuff from the general fund.
That's what happens when you throw money at a problem instead of educating the people to learn to handle their own crap! Look at New Orleans.....how much money was thrown their way and they still haven't done anything down there!
Who's to say that they do? That said, there's a strong sense of localism in all politics. For example, the Senator for Alaska demands all kinds of expensive and good things for ALASKA (like a bridge to an island with only a handful of residents) despite that the money could be as well or better spent elsewhere in the country. Why? Because he represents Alaska, and I would assume the Alaskans appreciate that.
Because liberals give free money to bums and women who had sex at 15 and are mooching off of welfare, who never work a day in their lives.
The are most interested in things that affect them directly for obvious reasons. They don't have the time, resources, or inclination to worry about global events. That makes them vulnerable to exploitation and that is exactly why corrupt politicians flourish in that kind of environment. It is a shameful but true part of our political landscape. No one wants to talk about the "get out the vote" programs in the lower economic areas of our cities, they not only go on, they make a major difference in our elections.
To get public assistance / welfare / housing etc. etc...
The poor vote for the politicians who will promise them

Never been taught a moral base. If a kid cries and gets what they want as adults they do the same thing. If you vote for me you can sit on your butt and I'll give you money. No incentive to work or try.
