Whats next after marring an immagrant?
Answer:
tell her to swim here across mexican border and she will get it all benefits free medical and dental we are giving away everything here free money and social security benefits now too so tell her to hurry and swim here from mexico its better than doing it legally
well....first you need to go to your local immagration office and they will tell you all the papers you will need to fill out and they will ask you if she entered legally or illegally which you will say yes...and then you go home and fill out all the paperwork and have all your pictures and birth certificates with the paperwork and then you will send a check in for each form they give you which they will let you know how much it is which about $785 total....cause i just got finished doing my wifes paperwork....believe me it is a pain in the ***.....let me know if you need anything else.
In order to get your spouse a green card, you have to do the following (assuming she is here legally, meaning she entered with inspection using a visa and that she is still in valid status):
File form I-130 (application for a visa)
File form I-864 (affidavit of support showing you make more than 125% of the federal poverty line)
She files form I-485 (adjustment of status)
If you want her to have work authorization while she is waiting on the green card, she also needs to file form I-765.
My mar, do you mean disfigure or maim?
(assuming she was in the country illegally when you married) apply for her residency. then wait like a 1-2 years for the appointment in the US embassy in her country. Once they give you the date expect it to take 5mos-1 year of waiting in her country for them to make a decision. You will need to provide photos of you together and with family, she will need a medical exam, and photos of her in a certain size. (they will tell you where to buy those) then if approved she will need to go to the embassy again (expect it to take all day) and then they will let her come to the us with a stamp on her passport. The permanent resident card ( aka greencard ) should come 4 weeks late in the mail, the stamp in the passport works until then. good luck its a horrible process, but its worth it!
File USCIS form I-130
After you receive the approval letter, start the consular filing. You do not want to file for K1, this is a fiancé visa, and you are already married so it does not apply to you. If you want to speed things up, do not wait for the I-130 approval letter, when you receive the receipt that USCIS received your petition proceed with K3 non-immigrant spouse visa, it’s faster and your spouse can adjust status when she arrives in the U.S.
