How provable is for the USA government to pass a amnesty in the USA?
Answer:
Quite probable and will happen. Both Bush and the Senate and the Democrats supporting amnesty, I don't see how it CAN'T happen.
I don't know what you mean by "provable." Could you mean probable? IMO, I doubt that amnesty will happen...there are too many people against pardoning those who have chosen to enter illegally.
If by some chance it does pass, it could take years to go through the process.
Lets hope not very. Amnesty has never worked, the last time 1986, almost no one took part, it was Regans fix all for the illegal immigrant problem, his one time deal, and it did not work.
First you have to define amnesty. The way I define it, and the way it's been defined in Washington, is making illegal aliens eligible to apply for permanent residence. Basically it would be an adjustment in status that they are not currently eligible for but would not be automatic. The polls I've seen, for example at www.pollingreport.com, show that 60% of people support that sort of approach.
