How can i get a work permit to work in germany?

Answer:
In Germany, a work permit comes together with the residence. You can not get them separated. However there are a couple of "priviliges" for american citizens.

You can find a lot of information in the official web of the german Ministry of Foreign Affairs, here you have the link:

yes it is
I don't think you need one. Two year olds drink beer in Germany. They don't care if you work.
If u are an American I suggest you to stay at home, because German language is so hard for you guys.
If you are British, you do not need one. If you are American / Australian contact one of the the German Embassies near you or look at their website.

You don't need one if you're from an EU Country. But I wouldn't bother trying to get a job there.
If you are British or another member of the EU then you dont need one. If you arent a member of the EU then I suggest you check with the people who issued your passport
