Would we get the business sector on board with immigration enforcement if we changed the tax laws?

It costs a lot more than the $10 an hour people are paid to employ them. You have workers comp, Social Security, employer matches, and the list goes on and on.

If it cost less to employ people by a lot would employers hire people legitimately? Certainly, it would stop them from trying to block enforcement.

The only real solution to the illegal problem is take away their jobs.

Answer:
If we made them pay for their workers' kids' education and food stamps, that would get their attention. Since we subsidize their illegal workforce with our tax funds, they make out like bandits at our expense.
