Is there any diffrent kinds of Immigration interview, and if there is, i have one for adjustment of Status, that meant to become Permanent Residence, is there any sort of test they will give me at the time of the Interview? If there is what kind and how is it. Remember, im not talking about the Citizenship Test.
Answer:
There isn't a test. It's just simple questions. My husband had his adjustment of status to become a perment resident because of marriage.
Our attorney told us the following:
The resident alien should never say they always wanted to be American. This suggests that the person wanted to be an American and got married to become an American.
The attorney suggested we bring to the interview proof that we are living together in a long term relationship. We took things like joint checking account statements, joint auto loan paperwork, insurance docs etc.
