I'm not sure there is such an animal as a liberal right winger. I am a conservative right winger, is that good enough? The wording in your question is quite hard to follow, but I'll try to answer. I'm guessing you mean new borders to the south. This would be a bad idea because:
A: Our country is big enough
B: We don't need to "inherit" land with extremely poor infrastructure
C: We want NOTHING to do with the corrupt government (ours is bad enough, theirs is worse)
D: Our economy would crash faster than a fat lady on ice skates. We can't afford to support people who live in what amounts to a third world country.
Those Politicians who are soft on Border Security are so due to a simple legal term known as "Conflict of Interest."
What this means is that they are somehow benefiting from revenue generated by the exploitation of illegal manpower.
This is why there will never be any significant changes in Immigration until enough Politicians gain moral clarity on this issue.
I am including the President in this catagory though I fully support Him in His unwavering defense against terrorism He is embarrasing on Immigration.
This is because as Governor of Texas He benefitted from Illegal Immigration, therefore Conflict of Interest plays a major role in His decisions on this issue.
