Post-1880s immigrants..?

Where did the immigrants after the 1880's settle?

Answer:
Google "Ellis Island" and find the actual Ellis Island historic site website. Look at the resources that address this very question. Next, if necessary, go to your local library and talk with the nice reference librarian about any questions remaining AFTER you've taken a first swing at it yourself.

That's called "doing research".
Everywhere.
All over.

?
My ancestors came here in 1702,they were merchants and they stayed together for about 10 years then they separated some went west and some went south .In the 1800s the immigrants were all over .Most did stay at first near others of their nationality but as they assimilated and learned the language they moved all over the USA.
Everywhere is correct. Cities and farms. The midwest and the wild wild west. I'm not sure what you really wanted to know.
