I would go.
You know Mexico and U.S are about the same age right? Both have been democracy's for about the same length of time right. But for about a 100 years, America had a stronger work ethic and built a better society. Now Mexicans want that without working therefor they try to jump over here and take what we worked for. I would never go to Mexico and force them to take up English and give me free healthcare on their taxpayers money. I would feel guilty. Something they don't seem to comprehend.
If it was a life or death situation (I've been to Mexico, I'm not impressed) but not just because I felt like it.

ummm, that is not at all a similar situation to what is going on with the illegal aliens from Mexico coming to the USA. Is there some giant strom that forced them up here? No.

Most if the illegal aliens in the U.S. are here for work and are not causing problems but to try to compare them to your theory makes no sense.

Exactly! When I saw that movie, I had to laugh. We all know that if we had to go to Mexico legal or not, we'd go. People only judge others actions and not their own.
For one thing I would not want to be an illegal immigrant. I would not even attempt trying. It would be useless. And I don't know how ppl. would have to be evacuated illegally anywhere. That doesn't make sense.

In the event of a natural disaster, the U.S.A would undoubtedly throw open it's border to Mexican refugees and probably send massive amounts of aid and support to help Mexico rebuild.
I doubt Mexico would do the same for the U.S.
I'm not such a big fan of America as I might seem from reading that; I find America's arrogance towards other Countries rather infuriating, but America is what it is today because that's what Americans built. I'm not impressed by the "right to bear arms" thing, but America has been a hell of a lot more successful than Mexico: Once upon a time, Spain went to war to control Mexico, but now you could hardly give the Country away because it's such an abysmal failure.
If I were a Mexican, or if England were in trouble, I would be working to help make my Country a better place.
I would rather accept my fate as I am. I'm not the living in the shadows type. I don't want to be anything except American. I've never heard of illegal evacuation.
I have said it before in my answers, I will say it again, I will not break into another country illegally. You are looking for some excuse to make illegal immigration look better than what it is, a felony.
Why would I leave danger here just to go find more danger? This is my country. I live here, I will die here.
Find another reason to make an excuse for the 20 million illegals here, as none of the "day after tomorrow" stuff is not happening there.

I have not seen that movie. But if there's a need for americans to leave their country I'm sure they will do it no matter what illegally or not. I mean it is a survival and anybody can do anything.
