Do you really think America will elect Hillary or Obama for presisent?
Answer:
Obama scares the hell out of me. Hillary couldn't do much worse than Bush. W has destroyed U.S. relations with most of the world. We need a president that can salvage that and end this war in Iraq. They ALL want publicity and money. Have you ever seen a poor guy run for the office?? It's all about breeding and the almighty dollar.
yes...Sadly!
No, I know I am not. I am a Republican.
obviously anything is possible since we "elected" Bush.....TWICE...
never thought that could happen either...
Well, Hillary has a possible shot, if McCain gets the Republican nomination. That is more because there are Republicans who would actively vote AGAINST McCain. Obama is too inexperienced, however, to take seriously.
No not really. Hillary is not that popular even within her own party. Obama is too new and inexperienced. The both have come out too soon and people are starting to get bored already. Hillary will be ripped to shreds before this campaign is done. She definitely was a partner in crime.
i think that they believe America will vote for them because they are a female or because they are black and we are looking forward to have a president who is also a minority. But they really have to work 10 times harder, they arent just going to get a vote because America wants a female or Black president. To conclude and answer your question, there is a big possibilty that one of them will be elected.
Now that I think about things, I doubt it too.
I doubt they will do anything to bring us out of the war and help with the troubles we have now.
I think I might go with voting for a republican.
No, neither, yes I am a republican. They won't for two reasons, Hillary is female (may hurt her, but will get the nom I sure), and Obama is Muslim. I truely do not believe that this country is ready for that. Personnaly I have nothing against the Muslim religion, but with the world in the sate of fear they are in, and sadly always pointing the finger at one particular belief, it won't happen. It is funny that no news media ever mentions this either, but they bring up Mick Romney's Mormon background daily. She might take him as running mate though. John Edwards and Hillary Clinton will be the ticket. I say don't leave Gore out of the picture either.
No.
Since I am an Independent voter and do not vote along party lines,I'm not really sure. I know people are ready for a positive change in leadership in this nation.I think that Obama is an unknown quantity and thus unelectable and Hillary is a known quantity and thus unelectable.
I know that both are far to liberal for my views and as yet I only see two people that I would consider voting for. And in reality the questions on both are still very strong. Although I want a president with strong pro American views and a strong stand against illegal aliens . I also want a leader to stop the selling of America to foreign nations piece by piece . The Republican and most of the Democratic candidates are far too soft on the issues that affect my daily life here in Arizona. But I also want a president that can help bring back the respect of our allies and our enemies. So far I don't see a "savior" coming to help this nation be our America again..
I do like Tom Tancredo (R) and Duncan Hunter(R)
because of their strong stand against illegal aliens.
You are incorrect. It is quite likely that one of these two liberal Dems will be elected. If the Repubs select someone like Juan (Open Borders) McCain, or Rudio (I love illegals) Guilinate, or Mitt (I am a born-again conservative) Romney, many conservative Repubs will not vote or vote for a third-party candidate. Rudy Guiliani would be a formidable candidate, but the Christian conservatives would be very unhappy if the becomes the GOP candidate.
I think the U.S. is ready for a woman or a black president. I don't think Hillary would get it (at least I hope not) because she's too over the top and too "Clintonesque." Obama might be okay but he's not well known enough yet and writing a book at the last minute isn't going to give him the exposure he needs. Maybe in four years he would be a good bet. I wish we could have a woman AND a black president and Condoleeza Rice would run and get elected.
Obama is a Harvard-educated intellectual. I prefer him over Hillary. Unfortunately, it looks like Hillary is going to be our Commander in cheap.
lets hope not. first of all, its 20 months until election, better candidates may arise. hopefully the lack of qualified candidates from both parties will lead more voters to a third party candidate. that being said, if i had to choose i would pick obama because hilary is ridiculously two-faced and ive had enough of that s h i t the last 8 years.
nope.. this will never happen.. i shouldn't say never because the republicans still have to pick their candidate. But as long as it is someone who is not out there, i don't see a way for either hillary or obama to win
Realistically, no, I don't. There is still WAY too much racism in these United States for a black person to win. Although I DO think he is better than what we have in there right now, I don't think Obama has any chances...I would vote for him, but realistically he won't win the Southern states that he needs to get to win.
As far as Hillary goes...she brings WAY too much baggage. But I don't think any women will win because those that DO vote...the elderly... still think that a womans roll should be at home with the kids...NOT in politics. How many women are voted into congress down in the south? I can't recall any.
Yes I honestly believe that they both have a good chance of being elected. I think the US is ready for a huge change after what the Bush Administration has done for this country. Although I believe Obama has a better chance of being elected than Hillary just from what I've heard from people around me they don't seem to like her too much. I don't know why though shes incredible I think. Obama though, he's an incredible speaker and highly intellectual I would love to see him as our president. I think it's time for a change.
