Yes. I have a male neighbor who acts like he has a stick up his a*s & never ever cracks a smile or has a kind word come from his pie hole! He empties his garbage in the hallway. A real example of a waste of space!
He must have been psycho... my own father might not laugh too much but that's because of work. When he's on vacation he does.

my husband and eldest daughter is like that. i like to joke alot and they get mad when i joke with them. helll everyone can use a good laugh once in a while.
A sense of humor gets you in serious trouble these days. Alot of humor is based on our not so great qualities and moments. Someone's always ready to jump on the PC and Race and "it offends me" wagon to where just simple funny observations could land you in jail.
