Do You Know That Illegal Immigrants Bring In $29 Million??

In Arizona alone. According to yesterday's CNN they bring in $29 billion in Arizona alone. Business owners love them in Arizona, and say all these bills are racist agendas against Hispanics.
Yes illegals waste $1.9 billion which is what the racist, anti-illegals are always crying about. But the benefits outweigh the price.

What do you think??

Answer:
ONLY WISE AMERICANS KNOW THAT. NOT THE EDUCATED IGNORANT AND WITHOUT WISDOM!
The disadvantages far outweight the advantages. Deport all illegals!
but they cost the usa more than that to have them here,, medical for starters,, then food stamps ect,,, and i am a retired marine,, brave enough for you,, what have you done for america, also mexico sold this land to the USA called the gasden land purchase,, you really need to get in touch with reality and stop spreading hate and misinformation, and girl you need to get educated, sorry but very true,,oh and by the way,, here in havasu we dont love them,, the city just passed an anti illegall ordinance that fines businesses for hiring illegals,, good for them,, oh by the way lets party,, how does being anti illegal make someone a racist,, or is it just a tool you use to make others look bad because you have no grounded argument
An illegal is a felon! Deport them all!
Never enough coming in to overcome the losses of their being here.
Mrmom is sad and undereducated. Does he not know that there are illegals fighting in Iraq? Food Stamps? Illegals do get medical, but most do not get food stamps and welfare. it is actually blacks and whites that get the food stamps and welfare- atleast in my area of CA.
They cost much more than they bring. Deport!
There is a little girl dead because of the actions of a illegal immigrant today, how dare you.
They bring in $29 million but waste $1,900 million? Clearly you need a lesson in math. They are running a $1,871 million deficit. In one state.

In any case, the $29 million could just as easily be paid by legal residents. All it takes is for employers to pay a living wage to legal workers. The legal workers spend money in the USA and do not send money abroad. The tax take (state and federal) goes up. So the governments can afford to reduce tax rates. Everyone pays the same as before but there is more money in the economy. Legal residents win because they have jobs and are contributing to the tax base. Businesses win because the increased economic activity means they sell more. The government wins because it gets the tax it needs without unduly burdening anyone.

The solution to thhis mess is really very simple if we would only look at it beyond the short-term.
No you are very very mistaken.

The total cost is estimated today to be in excess of $40 billion taking all financial factors into consideration--both the inputs and the outputs. THe net effect is COST to the American taxpayer to the tune of $40 billion.

Here's a link that shows the net effect to be $24 billion.ten years ago. Add in the increased numbers of illegal aliens and the inflationary trend..and you are up to $40B.
I think that is a bias story based on what the media wants you to believe. How much of that $29 billion came from taxpayers? And how much more went over the border?
Deport Now!!
They love them illegals so much in AZ that they just passed a bill fining employers for hiring illegals. The business owners love the money they make off illegals but us tax payer pay all the social services, An bare the burden of all the fraud. That's what we think?
And if Illegals were legalized, they would cost the Federal govt triple the amount.which means that the US taxpayer will pay more...oh thats fair right? Heres some information that will help clear things up for some that at least are open-minded:

Among the findings:

Illegal alien households are estimated to use $2,700 a year more in services than they pay in taxes, creating a total fiscal burden of nearly $10.4 billion on the federal budget in 2002.

Among the largest federal costs: Medicaid ($2.5 billion); treatment for the uninsured ($2.2 billion); food assistance programs ($1.9 billion); the federal prison and court systems ($1.6 billion); and federal aid to schools ($1.4 billion).

If illegal aliens were legalized and began to pay taxes and use services like legal immigrants with the same education levels, the estimated annual fiscal deficit at the federal level would increase from $2,700 per household to nearly $7,700, for a total federal deficit of $29 billion.

With nearly two-third of illegals lacking a high school diploma, the primary reason they create a fiscal deficit is their low education levels and resulting low incomes and tax payments — not their legal status or their unwillingness to work.

Amnesty increases costs because illegals would still be largely unskilled, and thus their tax payments would continue to be very modest, but once legalized they would be able to access many more government services.

The fact that legal immigrants with little schooling are a fiscal drain on federal coffers does not mean that legal immigrants overall are a drain. Many legal immigrants are highly skilled.

Because many of the costs are due to their U.S.-born children, who are awarded U.S. citizenship at birth, barring illegals themselves from federal programs will not significantly reduce costs.

Although they create a net drain on the federal government, the average illegal household pays more than $4,200 a year in federal taxes, for a total of nearly $16 billion.

However, they impose annual costs of more than $26.3 billion, or about $6,950 per illegal household.

About 43 percent, or $7 billion, of the federal taxes illegals pay go to Social Security and Medicare.

Employers do not see the costs associated with less-educated immigrant workers because the costs are spread out among all taxpayers

And this info was from the year 2004...So please...take your senseless drivel elsewhere...this is one American you cant Buffalo..good day.
So business owners think all these bills are racist against hispanics? Then why don't they hire legal hispanics? I think they are just biased against citizens. Heaven forbid they have to pay proper wages, taxes, and insurance. The business owners may benefit from hiring illegals, but that doesn't do anything to help citizens. You know, the ones that pay for benefits for the illegals? Don't they have a right to work and eat too?
That doesn't even come close to pay for schooling their kids. People with such low income would never make a net positive contribution for our government. THe cost for the lower income citizens is a net lost in itself, I can not see illegal immigrants being any different. THey may have a positive contribution in certain parts of the economy, like in Social security, but the net lost on other areas would out weigh that. They cost more in education, translators, medical and other social services than the average citizen.

Do You know how little 29 million is these days?
Your wrong and they are wrong .
CLOSE THE BORDERS , NOW , MR PRESIDENT !!
Nationally 50.1% of illegal immigrants are drawing money from welfare programs. 20% of citizens are drawing money from welfare programs.
In Arizona the percentage is worse its 50.9% and 19.5% for citizens. ( California is even worse but Arizona is 2nd )

I am very very skeptical that this was considered in that report. you are talking about ( but that have no link to and I cant find it on CNNs page anywhere )
i would be fine with it if they were paying taxes like everyone else
Their cost to taxpayers in Ohio is estimated at $3.5 BILLION annually, which is not even a border state. Costs in Arizona are outrageous. Most of what they "earn" they send out of the country.
They aren't bringing in anything. They are taking. Unfortunately for our nation, some unscrupulous employers hire illegals to save themselves some bucks and avoid taxes at the same time.
I think it is far past time to deport all illegal aliens, replace them with legal immigrants if the need for them is proven.
They actually dont keep that money in america. they send billions of dollars to mexico every year. how does that help america?????????...
1. cnn is biased as he!!
2. they are still ILLEGAL
3. they do more harm than good
4. illegal is illegal
Do you know that illegal immigrants increase crime rates??
Do you know that illegal immigrants steal US jobs??
Do you know that illegal immigrants increase taxes for American citizens??
Do you know that illegal immigrants disrespect American citizens and American laws??
Do you know that illegal immigrants decrease house property values??
Do you know that illegal immigrants would rather demand amnesty than EARN citizenship like the millions of other immigrants did when they came to the US??
Do you know that illegal immigrants refuse to speak English??
Do you know that illegal immigrants overplay the race card??

Add all those amounts up and it is greater than what illegals bring into the US!!!!!
The illegals come and are poorly educated and can not do much more than the lowest level jobs. They bring no insurance so end up at hospital ERs where the hospital must supply care, then the illegals stiff the hospital for the bill. They get paid in cash so pay no income tax and even if they did file, they have so many kids per family they get a tax credit. They force employers to turn away native born American teens because they need bilingual employees to talk to the employees who do not speak English at all.

If we give them amnesty and make them legal, that will just encourage more to do the same hoping for yet another amnesty down the road.

They start their life in the USA by breaking the law. And once you break a law, it is easy to break the next, which is why Hispanics are one of the biggest groups in prisons, disproportionately greater than their numbers in the general population. They are lowering the average income for the USA and are trying to turn the USA into another dirt poor Hispanic nation like Mexico. If they want a better life, let them stay in Mexico and fix things up instead of coming heere and sponging off us.

Here is something from a California School teacher who has seen it all.

From a California school teacher - - -

"As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegal immigration, there are some things that you should be aware of:

I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a large southern California high school which is designated a Title 1 school, meaning that its students average lower socioleconomic and income levels.

Most of the schools you are hearing about, South Gate High, Bell Gardens, Huntington Park, etc., where these students are protesting, are also Title 1 schools.

Title 1 schools are on the free breakfast and free lunch program. When I say free breakfast, I'm not talking a glass of milk and roll -- but a full breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make a Marriott proud. The waste of this food is monumental, with trays and trays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten. (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)

I estimate that well over 50% of these students are obese or at least moderately overweight. About 75% or more DO have cell phones. The school also provides day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant girls (some as young as 13) so they can attend class without the inconvenience of having to arrange for babysitters or having family watch their kids. (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)

I was ordered to spend $700,000 on my department or risk losing funding for the upcoming year even though there was little need for anything; my budget was already substantial.. I ended up buying new computers for the computer learning center, half of which, one month later, have been carved with graffiti by the appreciative students who obviously feel humbled and grateful to have a free education in America. (OUR TAX DOLLARS AT WORK)

I have had to intervene several times for young and substitute teachers whose classes consist of many illegal immigrant students here in the country less then 3 months who raised so much hell with the female teachers, calling them "Putas" whores and throwing things that the teachers were in tears.

Free medical, free education, free food, day care etc., etc, etc. Is it any wonder they feel entitled to not only be in this country but to demand rights, privileges and entitlements?

To those who want to point out how much these illegal immigrants contribute to our society because they LIKE their gardener and housekeeper and they like to pay less for tomatoes: spend some time in the real world of illegal immigration and see the TRUE costs.

Higher insurance, medical facilities closing, higher medical costs, more crime, lower standards of education in our schools, overcrowding, new diseases etc., etc, etc. For me, I'll pay more for tomatoes.

We need to wake up. The guest worker program will be a disaster because we won't have the guts to enforce it.
Does anyone in their right mind really think they will voluntarily leave and return?

There are many hardworking Hispanic/American citizens that contribute to our country and many that I consider my true friends. We should encourage and accept those Hispanics who have done it the right and legal way.

It does, however, have everything to do with culture: A third-world culture that does not value education, that accepts children getting pregnant and dropping out of school by 15 and that refuses to assimilate, and an American culture that has become so weak and worried about "politically correctness" that we don't have the will to do anything about it.

If this makes your blood boil, as it did mine, forward this to everyone you know.

CHEAP LABOR?
Isn't that what the whole immigration issue is about?

Business doesn't want to pay a decent wage.

Consumers don't want expensive produce.

Government will tell you Americans don't want the jobs.

But the bottom line is cheap labor. The phrase "cheap labor" is a myth, a farce, and a lie. there is no such thing as "cheap labor."

Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. He takes a job for $5.00 or $6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, he pays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he files an Income Tax Return, he gets an "earned income credit" of up to $3,200 free.

He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent.

He qualifies for food stamps.

He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care.

His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school.

He requires bilingual teachers and books.

He qualifies for relief from high energy bills.

If they are or become, aged, blind or disabled, they qualify for SSI. Once qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medicare. All of this is at (our) taxpayer's expense.

He doesn't worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.

Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material.

He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits.

Working Americans are lucky to have $5.00 or $6.00/hour left after paying their bills and his.

The American taxpayers also pay for increased crime, graffiti and trash clean-up.

_-----------------------------...

They cost us far more than they contribute and only Hispanics seem to be unable to grasp the meaning of "illegal."
Yeah but if we add up all the states that we contribute to, it's going to be BILLIONS. GO INMIGRANTS
