Personally I think all this "lost personal data" is the excuses they are using for ID chips and to let people get used to the idea that nothing is ever "personal" anymore. Seems we were better off with pencil and paper and file cabinets.
I think the FBI can't be trusted with laptops and should get 'clean' laptops when they need them for field assignments, only.
Presumably the tower PCs stay put.
they should question their own employees. who else would have access to such information and inventory??? it wasnt the clean-up crew or the public. i wouldnt be surprised at all of the underhanded work going on in the FBI
I think if we knew about every government item that has been misplaced or lost, we would be shocked. Besides, I thought they had tracking devices installed on their computers. Heck, corporations do.
