How did cesar chavez have to deal with tragedy?
Answer:
By stating that illegal immigration would wreck everything... He was right.
I grew up in Arizona in the 70's, and would say from personal experience, that he dealt with tragedy everytime he saw the squalid living conditions of the migrant workers. I had highschool teachers urge us to join the boycotts of local grown lettuce and grapes to help his cause to improve their conditions.
During that time period there was enough descrimination against Hispanic people to be a tragedy in itself.
