I would like anyone who is PRO illegal to come and live in a border state.
They are here illegally. They live like filthy animals. (You can always tell where a bunch of illegals reside...it looks like filthy run-down Mexico.) These people do bring more crime and have welfare babies who grow up with no work ethic because their parents brought them up getting hand-outs. They DO NOT try to assimilate and fit in to America. They just want to come here and wreck our country and turn it into filthy Mexico.
Like I said, if you are PRO illegal, come try living in a border state for awhile, otherwise I feel that you cannot properly weigh in on this topic.
Also, my ancestors didn't come here illegally. Now we have laws about immigrants which these people blithely ignore. The plain and simple fact is that they are breaking the law and criminals and anyone here illegally DO NOT have the same rights as American citizens. PERIOD.

Where do you get your information from? I knew it was 42% of illegal aliens in the whole nation that didn't get taxes taken off their check (because they do pay sales taxes, etc.).

Oh please! California is the seventh largest economy in the world. With an economy like that it could hardly be a "slum". Immigrants are making New York City into the most vibrant and economically powerful city in the world. How can they do that if they are making California into a slum as you claim. Does something happen to them as they drive east?

I live in a border state and have no problem with illegal immigrants. And you don't have a problem with them either, because whether you like it or not, you RELY on them every day of your little bigoted life.

I lived in Stockton for 21 years and watched my community turn into a slum.. it wasn't Mexicans that did it. It was after the Vietnam war.. figure out who did it.

What's creating slums is an economy that funnels most of the wealth to the richest 3% of Americans. What's creating slums is a society that pits the middle-class against the impoverished. What creates slums are social policies that are among the most backward of all developed countries. What creates slums is a culture that punishes those who have grown up with dysfunction, addiction and abuse, and rewards those who have grown up with opportunity, financial advantages and healthy family structures. What creates slums is a country that worships capitalism and devalues human life.

Actually, the politics of the times, have really pushed this. The 1965 immigration Act opened up the door for illegals but they didn't really come. Why? Well in the 70's we had a lot of inflation & unemployment. What about the 80's? Well we had a lot of nationalism & anti-communism during the Reagan Years, but the economy & the unemployment rate was better. Then the early 90's continued with some of the Reagan policies but there was a channge in our society that no one noticed until it was too late. Clinton got in office and he, his staff and appointments, including Janet Reno, started violating constitutional rights, and pushed "political correctness" Then the stupid hippies got older and infiltrated local govt, education, & ACLU. They started bombarding Americans with their Communistic Ideals. Illegals from Mexico are perfect for inflitration of the U.S. because Communistic ideals are what they are taught in Mexico along with the U.S. "stealing" their land. (Read "The Naked Communist"- 1958 to see how far they got)
Funny how they always accuse Americans as being wasteful, trashy, lazy, and not family oriented, and it is really the illegals from Mexico that are. I used to live in Los Angeles County right next to one of the first "sanctuary" city, El Monte. I had to physically fight the gangs (El Monte Flores, Las Lomas, Whittier Kactus Bunch, Etc) There are too many Razas & Reconquistas here, now protecting their invasion. I have been to the Philippines poorest areas and the people do not act like the way illegals act here. There is a reason they do everything illegally, because they are the criminal mentality of Mexico.
i feel your pain ....it is happening here in tennessee too..i feel like i have moved to mexico and i do not like it ...i think they live about 20 in each trailer ..cars and trucks everywhere...loud mexican music...somebody asked what do they contribute to our society..well they keep the beer companies in business..and they are real good at mass production of babies that we pay for with our tax $$$$...
They're doing the same thing to us here in Texas. And, its primarily because they never had decent housing in Mexico, living in slums. So, they come here and cram 40 of their fellow illegals into a 1 bedroom house and the next thing you know - instant slum. And, by the time a year is out, that 40 has become at least 50 because 10 of the women will have had little illegal brats since they don't know the meaning of birth control. Its time to stop this trend before it gets any worse and do something about sending all these illegal greasers back across the border.
