Why should legal citizens live in fear of illegals in Mexican gangs?

If any of you could live in my neighborhood for a day, you would be fearful of gangs too. I moved to my house 11 years ago to take care of my 90 year old. Back then there were mabe 2 mexicans in the neighborhood, now I am the minority. My landlord lives next door to me, this is a two story duplex really cool duplex's dating back to the early 19hundreds. This should be a historical area in Gainesville Ga., instead it is infested with illegals along with the gangs and drugs. You see Gainesville is the poultry capital of the world[ at least that's what it says on the town water tank], this town makes so much money cohorting with the illegals. Nothing will ever be done to clean up this town. I have become a recluse, and with every year I become more and more house bound, I hate to even get on the road and go anywhere, I never go to Wal-mart, I wash my car less and less,I plant less and less of a garden every year. I can't open my windows in the summer because all I hear is freaking um-pa music and children sceaming from every house around me, it's a free for all to do, act, and say what ever they please. I have called police several times and they are do nothing's, for their salary is paid by the chicken factories. Some people say why don't you move, well I have family history and memories that date back to the 1800's. I think the reason people are so ready to give up AMerica to the illegals, is because our roots have died or they are very shallow ones or new roots yet to be established. You have to have feelings for the land you know and care that our environment is suffering and people are suffering and I am so pissed that our government don't see what their ignorance is doing to Americans that give a damn if our country is slaughtered. Sorry if I went long!!!!!
You should not live in fear. It will lead to psychossis and some mental disorder. Make proper choice 2008, and kick liberal into balls.
Because our government has allowed them too. Of course they are going to come right back. With our government giving them free health care, free housing, free food and no taxes they will of course just run right back. Mexico want give that to them but we will free of charge. Sad but true. We as citizens need to start to fight back so we don't have to fear that our children and people are not safe from rape, drugs and much worse death. Our government has proved that they will do nothing to stop it from happening so we need to come together and fight our own government to get them out of our country and get our lives back. There are laws but the government refuses to uphold them.
I do the best not to live this way, and I am fully capable of protecting myself and when ever I am taking my "highly" trained and fearless 4 legged partners, around my neighborhood, all my friends and neighbors feel good. Its sad that many have to live in fear, but hopfully the gov't will one day get off their butts and take a hold of their coconuts and do something.

Citizens don't have to live in fear. You have law enforcement, and rival American gangs to deal with the problem. Don't live in their neighborhoods, which is the best protection. Many of them will end up in prison, deported or killed anyway. When they break into homes, that's what the NRA is for. The right to bear arms, and I excercise that right every day.
did you forget about all the other gang's? what about the "white"gang's?? if you look around,i assume you have a television and get to see the news: you will see dangerous happenings with all nationalities.leave the mexican's alone and try to focus on something other than starting trouble.

You shouldn't have to. It's a sad day for our children. Imagine what their lives will be like in 20 years. It's gotten bad all around USA. I've seen nice places turned to slums due to the illegal immigration crisis.

That is so true. They go right back over the border and then come back to the US thats not right. We need to get better border sercurity. President Bush has advocated the creation of a “guest worker” program that would allow non-U.S. citizens to come into America legally to work but he also had pushed for stricter border security and says he does not believe in amnesty for illegal aliens.
