Working Visa?
I'm a full time student here in Montreal Canada and my life long dream is to visite Australia. Sadly, I do not have the income for such an expensive trip. If anyone knows how I can get a working visa of some sort to work in hostels or bars or anything for a mounth or something so I can make some money while I'm there or any other alternative please please please let me know!!!
Thanks!
Answer:
Not too sure on the visa application process (check with the Australian consulate) but don't think you would have any problems with picking up casual work here, if you're an outdoor person there's plenty of harvest work in certain areas, catalogue delivery, door to door for phone companies and satellite television installation ( Austar and Fox tel) also try and see what you can find on the net for overseas workers.
Good Luck and maybe we'll see you around here one day.
My cousin went on a Youth Ministry and most of the expenses were picked up by the church. You would have to be affiliated with a church for this to be helpful to you, of course.
