If you want to live in the u.k. as a citizen you need a u.k. passport right?

i live in the u.s. so can i get a u.k. passport and u.s. passport? what happens if i'm a u.k. citizen, can i still go to the u.s. with my u.s. passport?

Answer:
Generally, you carry the passport of the nation of which you are a citizen. The US allows citizens of several nations to apply for and receive US passports as "dual citizens".

I do not believe you could get a UK passport without renouncing your US citizenship. Once having renounced your US citizenship, you may find yourself ineligible for dual citizenship. I may be wrong, though.
