About applying for green card?

My wife is a green card holder.
In September 09 she will have been in US for 4 years and 9 months.
We are married for 3 years now.
I am here on a F1 visa, with a bs and ms in computer science.
I'm getting my OPT in march. (next month)

Questions:
How long will it take from she applies for a citizenship till she gets it?
After she gets her citizenship, how long will it take after I apply for my green card?

Answer:
You can apply while she is a GC Holder.

She files I-130, it gets approved, and they put you in line untill your visa number became available (5 years for GC holders spouses). Then once she naturalizes, you upgrading your case, and there is no waiting.

This weay is better by 2 reasons - first, once she naturalizes, you will have all petitions approved, no more waiting (only more background checks).

Second - While you are waiting, you eill be in "Adjustment oending" status, that allowes you to apply for EAD, and Advanced parole for travel.
So you will not deal with OPT and stuff.

If your marrriage is nort strong, then do OPT to be sure, and H1B.
i hate to be the one to break the news to you but it takes 10 years for citizenship and now marriage to a citizen isn't enough to apply for a green card.
