Can you believe this? An illegal mother wants a BP agent to receive the death penalty for doing his job!?
Entering the US illegally in a time of war is treason. Anyone aiding or abetting an alien in a time of war is also committing treason - this includes employers and renters.

Answer:
This mother encouraged her sons to leave Mexico and enter the US illegally for her financial gain. It is tragic for any mother to lose a child, but when you endorse illegality you must face the consequences. Any law enforcement officer may use deadly force in the defense of his life.
Currently this case has been postponed as defense attorneys for the agent, Nicholas Corbett, have been denied access to discovery items. I just hope this man isn't railroaded like Ramos and Compean, based on testimony of criminals. It was a 7 against 1 situation and when any officer is faced with such numbers, and faces violent resistance he must defend himself.
I find it appalling that Mexico protests against our Border Patrol. Their immigration laws are much harsher, and their treatment of illegals crossing their southern border is horrendously notorious.
The CRIMINAL wants to punish an American hero? Deport her sorry butt home!!
You must have ties to a country before you can commit treason against it. Entering illegally is just a violation of immigration law.
I'm going to start selling heroin because I want a better life.
There is no just.
Of course the illegals want Americans to suffer.
First they break in, then they bring others, then they denounce the laws our country holds.
And our President AND Congress have done nothing to protect the American citizens.
I'm assuming you live near me (hence the KTAR link), so we already know this is a huge problem.
That border agents aim sucked, only 1 out of 7? He needs to be taken off duty and put back in shooting school.
So the Racist BP agent only killed one and left 6 witnesses against him.
The one he killed fought and was coming here to get money to send back to Mexico.
Sounds like the BP agent was doing his job and deserves a raise if not a medal.
In Mexico- he was just a young worker.
If he was interested in remaining just a "young worker" he would have gotten a visa or stayed in Mexico.
Here in America he is a criminal that should have done as the officer instructed him, so that he could have been apprehended without incident.
Mr. illegal alien caused this harm to himself by not doing as the border patrol instructed.
i believe it. i don't believe it's treason though. i find it funny the father said the agents are racist. 65% of the BP are of mexican decent
You can only commit treason against a country of which you are a citizen. The claim that employers and landlords who employ and rent to illegals are committing treason is pure hysteria and exaggeration. As well, I don't recall the U.S. declaring war on anybody--not even Iraq. Is the U.S. "at war"? Or is this just another way of saying, "we neocons should be able to do whatever we want because we claim that the U.S. is at war"?
The racism and xenophobia of Americans who post to mytend.com never ceases to amaze me.
My understanding of this situation, I will wait for the evidence before I pass judgement unlike those here, is that the eye witness testimony and undercover tapes that were recording at the time, that the officer took the immigrant behind his truck, made him get on his knees, and shot him at point blank range in the head. If that is true then the agent is a murderer pure and simple
Dangerdog, since that time Mexico has sent us many of the drug lords that are citizens of their country, Columbia and citizens of the US. So evidently things have changed.
Well, here we go again. This will be worth keeping up with! Please keep us informed on what's going on with this case.
It's a shame this guy lost his life, BUT he was committing a crime. If he had co-operated he would still be alive>>>> he fought he lost.
Maybe he should run off to Mexico...
Under the U.S.-Mexico Extradition Treaty, which went into effect in 1980, neither Mexico nor the United States is bound to deliver its nationals for extradition and both countries may refuse to extradite unless the country seeking extradition assures that it will not impose the death penalty.
However, recently Mexico unilaterally interpreted the treaty in a way that significantly curtailed the ability of the United States to extradite persons charged with serious crimes. In October 2001, the Mexican Supreme Court ruled that the U.S.-Mexico Extradition Treaty bars the extradition to the United States of anyone who faces a potential life term in prison.
Your points and facts are perfectly sensible to me.
So, why don't our empoyees in Washington D.C. get it?
Anyone ever heard of fighting a war while simultaneously maintaining an open perimeter? Not me.
YES, I can believe it because our BPs have their hands tied and I would have her deported ASAP!
Yes I can believe it. That is the type of people and culture we're dealing with,is anyone surprised really?
What would surprise me is if the right thing was done, the agent placed back on duty and that mother told to shut the hell up.
SHE should be shot for conspiracy to commit a felony on the United States of America. Better yet just bring her to my house I'll settle the whole thing.
Well, they've been exempt up to now. It's time to bring the hammer down. I can't believe that they have not deported this woman, who the heck is she to demand a death penalty or any penalty at all? We are not at war with Mexico so I don't think that treason is the case. But if anyone defies the BP, he/she should have the right and the order to protect themselves at all costs. Illegals have pushed this country too far with their demands and viscious attitudes. I'm surprised that this hasn't happened sooner.
