Why are people using such broad definitions of "racism" these days?
What racism is not is:
a) wanting to be with your own people and only with your own people;
b) disliking a particular ethnic group due to perceived differences in character or physical traits;
c) having feelings of violence toward a particular group or groups not out of a sense of superiority.
I must say I don't like whites and I prefer to be around any other group: Blacks, Asians, American Natives, Pakistanies, etc. That does not make me a racist, because I don't think of whites as inferior. I just profoundly dislike them, in what I'd say is a biological sense of aversion.

I agree with you. What you have described is prejudice and bigotry. I am white, yet I don't feel bad because you say you don't like me. But somehow, I believe I would like you, and I don't even know what race you are.
But I digress. It is your right to dislike one based on their race, ethnicity, etc. It's the same as not liking redheads, fat people, skinny people, smokers, etc

I'll just stick to being racist and hating everyone who isnt white, because they are inferior to me...oh yeah, forgot, should i divorce my asian wife? People use the word as a political tool all the time. Am i racist because i live in a white neighborhood and i'm white, i don't think so, but people could look at me a sbeing racist because i do live in an affluent white neighborhood if they don't. Its just a word anyway.

We have grown ups on this forum and there are in reality many different types of racism in this complex world.If you hated a few white people because of something they had done to YOU personally then that isn't racism.But if you hate ALL white people because of what a few have done then that's racism.I don't /cant hate an entire race of people.That's just fear and ignorance to me.I may "hate" an individual from a race that had caused me harm ,but as an intelligent person I could never hate the entire race of that person.How childish.
I don't want any illegal aliens in this nation.But I do not hate them because they are a certain race.I hate what they do as a whole to my country.I can not muster up that much "hate" inside me to "hate" the entire race or color etc.
I don't have any "aversion " to any race.my friends are a beautiful rainbow of colors and nationalities.Trust me I'm sure as hell not Mary Poppins...but I am not a racists and I feel you are just from this post.It is not racists to not want any illegal aliens in this country.Or not to live in a crime infested area,or to want your kids to go to a good school.That's just good common sense.
