Right wingers don't want to take over Mexico. Unlike communists, right wingers can't take over private property to pay for social programs, merely tax it incrementally. That would leave us responsible for paying for the universal education for the poor that Mexico doesn't have, and a form of Medicaid. Meanwhile, the poor of Mexico would end up in our schools, and only 20% of the country is here now, as I understand it. (Not sure how hard that number is.) More would be worse, and our schools and services are already failing.
Mexico needs to take care of its poor at least as well as we already take care of our own. We need to take care of our own and our middle class better by preserving our schools and services for our own people rather than for those who come illegally to use them.
When my daughter was in Kindergarten, she came home and told me that she was worried about something bad that was happening at her school. I couldn't believe what she told me. She was attending the the nicest school in the nicest neighborhood of San Antonio, Texas. She stayed home with a private teacher the next day and her father and I went to the school to see for ourselves. She was telling us the awful truth. Her two so-called teachers resented having four Hispanic non-English speaking children in their class. So, they placed the four five year olds in the back of the classroom with no materials and instructed them to keep their heads down on the table . . .for the entire morning Kindergarten class . . .every day of the week. My daughter never went back to that school. She became an advocate for bilingualism and an outstanding reading specialist and educator in the state of Texas. Those so-called Kindergarten teachers in that so-called "nice" school district were racists, of the worst kind. It was perfectly OK for U.S. business owners to break our laws and criminally invite and hire undocumented workers, just to avoid paying Americans a legal and decent wage. But, mealy-mouthed racists couldn't help themselves from deliberately harming little children, the children of the same Mexican workers who were illegally hired to work in their communities. These same racists sabotaged every single effort to build up appropriate social services to help these Mexican families assimilate into our communities. Now, the folly and sickening mean-spiritedness of that racism is coming home to roost in these communities. Having been deliberately denied every single opportunity to become legitimate, tax-paying, educated assimilated citizens, many Mexican immigrants who were the product of U.S. criminally hired foreign labor, suffer terrible poverty and lack of an education. It's very difficult to become educated when one is segregated and forced to sit in the back of the class with one's head down. I've lived a long life and I've lived all over the world and I've been a hospice nurse. I've seen the best and the worst that human's can dish out. NOTHING is sicker than a mealy-mouthed racist treating five year old babies like those monsters did those kids back then. And, it happened all over. And, the racists now wonder why many of our communities are collapsing. The morons. If these sick minded heartless dregs of humanity had made even the slightest attempt to build up these workers and their families that we USED like slaves, for crying out loud, our communities would be more stable today. And, we would have marched into the furture as true friends with our neighbor to the south. All that these racist have amounted to after all these years . . . all that their "great" vision of purity and superiority have led this once mighty nation to is to take some people out into the desert and shoot them. All of this is moot. We are eliminating all borders and have become one Superstate. Racists don't care about other people or the realities of the North American state or the enormous economic changes that are occuring. But, anyone interfering with this new Superstate will be lucky to get to work for a dollar an hour in southern China in less than five years. Any state that interferes with this new Superstate will become an economic wasteland with U.S. Army tanks patrolling the streets. The power and wealth behind this new Superstate is beyond imagination. This is fact. English has become the international language of commerce. But, in the global job market no one who does not know at least two languages will be able to get a white collar job in the near future. This, too is fact. Due to racists who made learning a second language seem like something "un-American", average Americans will not be able to maintain their standard of living. Racism is a mental and spiritual disease that has significantly contributed to the end of the American Dream.
