So. I am not responsible for, nor will I apologize for what my ancestors may or may not have done. That goes for alleged wrongs committed by my country in a different era.
What do you think will happen if they knew? Suppose your ancestors killed people, can you be blamed for that? obviously no. So, even if someone knows, it wouldn't serve any purpose. What we need to know is that we have to make this world a better place to live not only for ourselves but for others as well.

Yes my ancestors did some bad things.. and yes they did some great things... right now we have a great country and it is because of their hard work, their effort, their mistakes, their dreams, all the bad things they did, and their blood. it's good to learn about the past so you don't repeat mistakes, it's bad to live in the past because then you never move on
