Most Immigrants in Mexico are U.S Citizens... What is your Impression about that?

I believe that if Mexicans go through all the steps to become citizens, and choose to obey our laws, then by all means- come and enjoy and work in America!
I have been to Mexico myself- some of the most BEAUTIFUL scenery I have ever seen (but I live in Alaska, and I like it better, no offense). It is too warm for my taste, but most people could say just the opposite about Alaska! :)
Now, I don't think anything about U.S. citizens moving to Mexico, we live near that pretty country and a lot of people like what they see. Mexico is a fair place to live to get away from the bustle of American life!
(But don't be all ""Americans is homeless, starving, unemployed, or in need of help"", Mexico has a large share of problems as well- pollution and marketing to name just a small few. No country is perfect, and no country will ever be perfect.)
And just to let you know, the unemployment problem isn't that bad any more- and the homeless and starving problem is due to the people's actions, not the government's.
so explain why Mexico president pushing for Amnesty for 9 million illegal Mexicans in USA!!!
Uh is that legal or illegal? There's a difference learn it. Never mind I know the difference and so do you we Americans choose to follow laws unlike Illegal Mexican Immigrants.

Yes, the said Americans are not sneaking over the border, demanding that the Mexicans teach their children Spanish, steal identities or ask the government for welfare. I can also wager to guess they are not overflowing your prison populations either. We treat our immigrants well in this country too. Its the criminals that sneak in and demand rights that they haven't earned are the ones we don't like.
Thats an interesting stat about Americans being the largest Mexican immigrant. But I am sure that they are all legal that's the key word you have left out in your rant. I wish America would have the immigration policy that Mexico has they are very tough and even if you meet their critiria to become a mexican citizen you will never be able to buy land in certain area's.
But I bet they came into Mexico LEGALLY. Thats the difference the libs do not seem to get through their thick skulls. Legal vs Illegal, its a simple concept.
I bet they are legal immigrants. My overall impression is that the majority of Mexico is a cesspool, the breeding ground of the uneducated poor that are invading (escaping to) the U.S., and the "beautiful" parts are for tourists, retirees, and the wealthy.
Most of the Americans moving to Mexico are retired people with lots of money. The situation is American with illegal Mexican immigrants is not in any way the same thing! I agree that most Mexicans are very friendly and hard working people. I'll never forget when I was visiting a friend in Mexico City and we were on the bus and I didn't have the correct change for a bus ride he was telling me to take to meet him somewhere and a lady who happened to over hear or, at least, see that I didn't have it, gave it to me. It was one of the kindest things anyone has ever done for me! I love Mexico!
They are there legally and less than 200,000 of them are there. Whereas 7 million Mexicans with whom we have no problem are here legally and at least an equal amount (per the Pew Hispanic center) are here illegally. Those we have a problem with.
Illegal immigrants, not just Mexicans, exceed the limits we impose on admitting poor immigrants. We impose limits on poor immigrants because we pay for education and services for our poor people. Their better life is at our expense, even if they weren't driving down wages for our own people. Our schools are overcrowded and failing our own children. Their children are not more important than our own.
i agree el topo , it is kind of funny that most of the time people from other countries are treated better than most Mexicans in Mexico yet many ignore this fact . most Mexican are polite and hard working people and treat most Americans really well , they usually smile and offer their help not matter if they saw u before or never did . there is also around 1 million American from the states who live in Mexico and many more are allowed to use Mexico as their vacations spot . most of those Americans which live in Mexico are retired people which take advantage and are very welcome of Mexico's cheap economy for them , i think America is lucky to have a country in which most people are friendly to them as a neighbor and not one in which they are not welcome .
by the way i forgot to mention that not every American from the states is legally in Mexico , but yet all are given a good treatment just because they are Americans ...

What I can't understand yet is why most Europeans tourists speak fluent Spanish, and most Gringoes are monolinguals in English! despite the USA is pretty close to Mexico!!!!

I guess maybe in the tourist spots Mexico may have some beauty but when I was there all I seen was filth. We drove for miles and I kept waiting to see the clean nice parts and it never happened. It was filthy and down right dangerous looking. I could hardly wait to get back on the US side.
All Mexicans are not hard working, either. You can be poor but you can be clean and I seen Mexican guys laying all over doing nothing, when they could have grabbed garbage cans and brooms and start cleaning up the filth.
Mexico has much better weather, landscapes, soils, people, and diversity.
In the USA there are MacDonald's and home depots in each corner of each state. Mexico is more diverse and more colonial and historical. I like so much Mexico. It is agreat Nation.
I just spent my Spring Break in Mexico. And no, I did not go to Acapulco or Cancun (these are tourist cities). I went to Emiliano Zapata, Michoacan. You are right, Mexico is a beautiful country! I saw several houses that were beautiful and I was told that they were owned by retired US Citizens! I thought to myself, now that is the way to live life! I would have loved to stay, but I had to come back and finish out the semester. VIVA MEXICO!

My impression is that in all liklihood most of those US citizens in Mexico are there LEGALLY. Also, if Mexico didn't send all their poor to the USA, you might see more "homeless, starving, unemployed" Mexicans in Mexico. And, I beg to differ with your statement that most legal immigrants in the USA are Mexicans. Instead, it should be read, "Most ILLEGAL immigrants in the USA are Mexicans."
Interesting i did`nt know that American are in Mexico receiving health care and other stuff for 200 us dollar a year,every where American go they thing their are the best.but yet they have no culture for them self.
