Do you agree people from the Indian sub Continent are not British?
Answer:
Of course they`re NOT British if they`re from the Indian sub-continent that goes without saying.
You`re British if you`re from Great Britain.
I guess it is because the Brits had control of the subcontinent for such a long time. A handful of Canadians think of themselves as British i.e Mike Myers.
i'm starting to get really annoyed with people like you!!get a life!
I reckon they are trying to cash in on the days of the Empire. If this is the case, the sun is yet to set! The days of the Raj are alive and well... in immigration at least
If you're born in Britain then you are British, simply coming to this country doesn't make you British. If you have spent more than 50% of your life in a country I believe you then become that nationality in common. I still consider my uncle who is British but was in America for around 80% of his life as American.
You are so wrong you make me think that you are making this up as you go along but the people on Yahoo here are not sub normal idiots who cannot see whats what so why don't you make better research. Start like this: How can a person from India with an Indian passport claim they are British? Who are they going to make this claim to? Customs? Please!
Secondly, if you do meet an Indian who claims to be British, how do you know that he is not British? Because he has dark skin is no indicator, get me?
If you ask me mate, the Question you should be asking is : Who are the British? That, clearly you don't have a clue!
No they're either Indian,Pakastani or Bangladeshi, probably claim to be British so we look on them more favourably in the hope they get to stay here, but if you want to stay here you can't blame them for trying, dont blame immigrants blame the politicians.
If they have a British passport then they are British.
What experience do you have of meeting people from the sub continent at UK ports? how many have you met?
no i don't agree
