First off, Chinese are not communists. They have a hybrid socialist/capitalist system. Democracy is also a form of socialism,by the way. Anyway, they are fleeing their country not because they have some evil plan to take over the U.S. but because they want a better life for themselves and their kids. The education and work system in China stinks. They aren't spies or terrorists, they just want freedom like everyone else.
Not particularly. Chinese illegal immigration is nothing new. The fact that they're coming through Canada shows that border security needs to be improved on all entry points. As far as the Chinese governments inaction goes, it could be that they view the emigrants as malcontents that they they just as soon be rid of. The fact that they're communists is largely irrelevant.
I am aware that just about every nation on earth has people here illegally. That being said, I wonder why they come here? They could stay in Mexico or Canada, and apparently they have some type of money if they are able to travel to this part of the world.......so guess they aren't poor and starving. (ooops did I just squash some pros EXCUSE for illegal immigration???)
Personally I think we should be keeping a very close eye on the Chinese and N. Koreans.
Maybe Chinese officials are hoping that the Chinese illegals will send back millions of dollars just like the illegal Mexicans do.
