Do people know the difference between illegal aliens and immigrants?

The illegals give bad name to they people who come here and get an education and work for all they have. And then we have people who lump them all together. That must really hurt for the people who worked hard at attaining citizenship.
Not real tough to understand the law is very clear it's just too bad our government refuses to follow the laws that they are required to follow. Teaching that in citizenship school why? those people are following the law. It needs to be taught to our politicians.

What part of ILLEGAL is a difficult concept? If you are not suppose to be here, you must leave. They are criminals since they are breaking the law.
That means EVERYONE - including the anchor babies. They can return when they are 18. However, they have to go with their parents. They parents shouldn't be rewarded because they had kids here.

The distinction is crystal clear to me. There's never been any confusion on my part. It just sounds nicer to throw the criminals in with the law abiding immigrants. They sure like to muddle it up though........immigrant communities are unsettled with ICE raids. Immigrants wouldn't be unsettled.....they're here legally. The only ones unsettled are the ones who know they aren't supposed to be here.
i wonder about that myself. the illegals seem to get the two words confused with each other. illegal is illegal no matter how they want to put it. they are not legal immigrants. but if you really want to look at it from another view, weather legal or illegal they immigrated to another country. weather they do it legally or illegally is all on them.
