At the very least, only because there'd be a higher potential for criminal activity just because of the greater population of incoming people from whatever country you like. :P

No, What will result is that the poeple that are here illegaly will get a chance to get out of the shadows and keep building a better America. Most of them are here to work and love this country just as much as you and me.
And by the way, most of them pay taxes, we have to educate ourselves before forming an opinion.
Possible increased crime, introduction of multiculturalism in all aspects of society (we speak English in this country, but new immigrants might not be required to speak English. Our ancestors did learn English when they came here so why do we have to press 1 to continue in English?). Blurring of the lines between being an American and a member of "the world". Personally I'd rather be an American, and not a Hyphenated American, ie Anglo-American. I'm an American first.
You can count on it, and if we are lucky , maybe we can bring in the Narco Drug War going on in Mexico . It sure would make life more exciting here in the boring USA.
I dont see how it will work, nor how it can be enforced? The only way to get out illegals is have a massive screening of everyone to find them and the ACLU wouldnt let that happen. It is simply too late to re enter 12 million illegals.
what is it about americans that make them so wary of strangers. Every country has had its own share of immigrants-caused disasters. So what is it about america that makes it a special case. Lots of americans enter other countries at will and not all with good intentions.

Not necessarily. Immigrants aren't criminals, and I can't possibly imagine how so many people got this idea in the first place. A hard-working Mexican immigrant is as likely a criminal as everyone else in the country. Why so many people hate them, I still can't believe!
Beyuki, you are misinformed, you keep saying they pay taxes too, but most of them work under the table and most of them do not contribute to health care they drain it we have closed 7 emergency rooms in my city alone in the past five years.
