Because of this new law that has been enacted, my wife and step-daughter have to wait even longer to be approved their visas. It is stupid because I am in the military, I filed all the necessary paperwork at the embassy and now all the paperwork is being sent to the U.S. for review by the Department of Homeland Security to ensure than I am not a child molester. How many child molesters petition for family immigrant visas? I am being punished for what someone else has done?? Does not make sense to me. Does anyone know who I need to contact to find out how much longer this is going to be?

Dude , I did 4 years active military and still waited 3 years for my green card . Its called bureaucracy , and it takes time
It is stupid.Like the wonderful man who died for this country and was only made a citizen after his death.People wonder why there are so many illigals its because they make it next to impossible for them to enter legally!!!
